Joshua Tree National Park & Mojave National Preserve, California, USA – 2017. In February I spent a few days in Palm Springs and while there spent a day in Joshua Tree National Park. We had a 4x4 so decided to drive the Geology Tour Road and Berdoo Canyon Road. Although all the signs said otherwise, Geology Tour Road can easily be traveled without a four wheel drive if it is dry. Several sections of Berdoo Canyon Road definitely require a high clearance four wheel drive – this is a fun ride. After Palm Springs we headed back to Las Vegas and took a road trip through the Mojave National Preserve.
